Dragon Fruit Smoothie Bowl

Want to turn a vanilla looking smoothie into something more exotic and colourful with an added punch of tropical nutrition? Look no further and whip up a quick creamy, delicious smoothie bowl for your breakfast on the go!

Ingredients:

Dragon Fruit: 250gm (diced and frozen)

Berries of your choice or Rambutan: 100gm, frozen

Bananas: 2 medium, peeled, diced and frozen

Vegan Vanilla Protein Powder: 3 Tablespoons
Dairy-free milk (coconut milk): 1/4-1/2 cup

For Toppings: sliced fresh fruit, berries, flax seeds or granola

Process:

Add  protein power, frozen dragon fruit, berries or rambutan, banana and coconut milk to a high speed blender and blend until you get a creamy smooth texture.

Garnish with sliced fresh fruit, nuts (optional), berries and granola and enjoy a delicious

Pro Tip:

~ The key to a creamy consistency is to blend slowly and add milk little by little

~ If you want to replace the protein powder with something more natural, add the meat of a baby young coconut

~ You can replace flax seeds with soaked chia seeds that are rich in antioxidants, fibre, protein and Omega-3 Fatty Acids
